Interview: Social theory and the charity sector.

This month Dr Siobhan Dytham from Warwick University interviewed me about the charity sector and social theory. It’s part of a broader project the university are working on to create an online resource exploring social theory, it’s application, and relevance to modern study and practice.

As Siobhan says in the interview, they spoke to me as I have a background in the charity sector and therefore can give academics an insight into how third sector organisations make use of social theory. Even if we are calling it a different thing!

You can listen to the interview here:

In the interview I mention that we’re currently working on creating some training for higher education about working with charities, if you’d be interested in hearing about this once it’s developed please sign up using the form below or open the form in a new tab by clicking here, and we’ll be in touch.
